Learning foreign languages, if omit it is fashionable and prestigious, which is also important nowadays, has a few features, many of which, if treated duly, may grow into something bigger, than just a communication tool in between folks or nations.
The process of learning is continuous, moreover, it is more like a persistent state; and a result of any more or less continuous state one is undergoing during his or her lifetime, this one is not able to feel it smoothly and evenly, nor feel in the same way, nor re-estimate its necessity for one’s personality development without fluctuations.
For the most of learners studying a language is a routine, when day after day they spend outnumbered hours till they may start harvesting their own achievements and taste the language in its beauty and power as one whole.
Me, personally, never been an exception for any rule I know, may be that’s the reason why her Highness Routine was very near and dear to me unlike to an average student I met in my life; then, after I was around my 30, I, thanks God, looked at the hi-tech, which seemed to me to be the only possible means in the endless ocean of words, phrases, meanings, rules and exceptions…
Thus, I re-invented the wheel, i.e. I decided to work out my own electronic dictionary; but no dictionary may suffice to anybody who’s learning a foreign language as none may feel comfortable having at hand just a dictionary. Lucky was I because at that time there was already done and used widely a perfect programming language Perl (by the way, it keeps surprising me till now). It is natural as its father himself was a linguist. Well, in short it is a marvelous tool to develop applications to process any written language electronic texts in a fashion I need. Finally, I ended with an application that is able to compile a vocabulary for a given text with one touch only.
One might say, ‘well, you’ve done away with your routine – enjoy!’, but humans are greedy and, sure, it is The Process!

Computer-Aided Translation, or its another variant - Computer-Assisted Translation is the very possible way to make any kind of human language translation more comfortable and thus more professional (to my mind).
Everyone's from time to time looking for something special and perhaps unique in order to master a foreign language first, and then to show as a pro in the field of translation; but very few tried something in the field and attained something real...
